Clean rooms, comfortable beds, and very friendly staff. Breakfast is included in the rate (which is very reasonable in the off-season) and is more than just continental (scrambled eggs, sausage, pancakes, fruit, yogurt, bagels/bread, juice, etc.)

Very pleased and very reasonable cost. Will always stay there. The breakfast was excellent, an actual breakfast not like some hotel/ motels where you only get some bread and juice!

This place was very clean, the beds were beautifully made, which sounds weird, but we've actually gotten to a few other (supposedly nice) hotels, only to find the beds were made without changing the sheets! We would definitely recommend this hotel!

We stayed here on our way home and it exactly what we needed. We chose the room with the hot tub and it perfect. I love the fact that I can set the air conditioning to a temperature that I love and it's not too loud to keep you from sleeping. The night staff were extremely friendly and helpful and the morning staff were just as friendly. The location is perfect just off the main highway and a decent price point.

If I could give this place 10 stars out of 5, I absolutely would. I stayed at Hinton Lodge for a work trip, and honestly, I didn’t expect to be this impressed. Right from check-in, the receptionist asked what kind of room I prefer. I told her I love privacy and I like to keep my curtains open at night so the sunrise can wake me up. She didn’t just nod — she actually listened and put me in the perfect room for exactly that. It felt so personal, like someone genuinely cared about my stay. The room itself blew me away. Everything was spotless, like the hotel had just been built or freshly renovated that morning. Every detail felt new — the soap, the coffee maker, the furniture. Even the bathroom fan was so quiet I almost didn’t believe it was on. You can tell they take real pride in how this place is maintained. Breakfast was way above the usual hotel standard. Real scrambled eggs, sausages, beans… and the plates were ceramic, not cheap paper plates like everywhere else. Small detail, but it makes a big difference in how the morning feels. And every staff member I interacted with was incredibly friendly — not forced friendly, but genuinely warm. It just felt good being there. I travel a lot for work, and this stay honestly stood out. Hinton Lodge earned a fan for life. I’ll be back.

Very reasonable prices. Great staff. Adequate breakfast. This is the second time staying here and both times have been a pleasure. Rooms are clean. Maybe a little outdated, but who needs all the distracting of bells and whistles. We'll be back again, DV.

Beautiful room ,very comfortable and the controlled air worked awesome and was very quite. They accommodated our dog no problem Wich was amazing. And they had nice clean furniture and folded the towels nicely. It went beyond my expectations for the price it was so that's a good thing. The only thing I thought was that it would have been nice to have extra blankets in the rooms closet instead of having to ask but they were accommodating.they were really good about rushing our breakfast when the wrong time was recorded and like I said they were great as far as our pet was concerned. The pool was good and staff was really great! Thanks

Probably the best hotel I've stayed in for a few years. Quiet. Sheets are clean. 2 things that would make it nicer, breakfast as a solo traveler would be nice to go, signs insist that it isn't taken away. Additionally, the lock on the door was almost impossible to engage.Reported to desk staff who said they would take care of it.
